Engineering
Senior Mechanical Designer
We have an immediate opening for a level II designer. Please see the below description.
Responsibilities:
• Generate design layouts, general arrangements, and technical detail of any given project
• Direct, supervise, and check junior design team member’s efforts in technical representation of design concepts
• Visually represent technical concepts to junior level designers/drafters for the purpose of creating detailed technical plans
• Expert level knowledge and understanding of construction standards to interpret in drawings
• Publish reports on progress and field trips to senior management
• Communicate as needed to both internal personnel and external vendor contacts to gather information necessary to finalize work
• Understand and manage drawing workflow
• Gather field data and/or supervise this effort as required
• Mentor junior level team members in career development
Experience:
• 10+ years professional drafting/design experience
• Must have diversified drafting experience moving into a specialized discipline to be able to support multidiscipline engineering drafting efforts
• 2+ years leading design efforts with no senior team member supervision required
• Power Boiler industry experience required
• Associates and/or Technical degree required
• Professional references and work examples must be available upon request
Ability to travel 15-25% of the time as required to collect field data

Medium to Senior Level Piping Designer
We have an immediate opening for a level I / level II designer. Please see below description
Responsibilities:
•Producing piping plans, elevations, sections, details and isometric drawings
•Ability to travel to field site locations, gather accurate and adequate information to complete projects and piping designs
•During these trips, make sketches based on space constraints and produce CAD drawings from these sketches
•Work in 3D AutoCAD and Bentley Design Software
•Some overtime will be required as approved by engineering manager
Experience:
• 3-10 years professional drafting/design experience
•Must have diversified drafting experience moving into a specialized discipline to be able to support multidiscipline engineering drafting efforts
•Structural experience a plus
•Power Boiler industry experience required
• Associates and/or Technical degree required
•Professional references and work examples must be available upon request
•Ability to travel 15-25% of the time as required to collect field data
•Salary – based on experience, benefits discussed at time of interview
