COMPANY HISTORY
Factory Sales & Engineering, Inc was founded in 1935 and established as a manufacturer’s representative company with a staff of approximately seven people. Our original owners and staff would put various vendors together to provide a complete boiler package mainly focusing on the Sugar Industry, with projects in Central and South America. As time passed, and under the second ownership, Jim Thibaut came to work for the company as a mechanical engineer. After beginning his position, Jim recognized the opportunity for FSE to evolve into an OEM company designing the boiler systems and completing the mechanical construction work. The company began to transform by executing this design work, having the boilers fabricated locally and purchasing the auxiliary items. By 1983, Jim decided to purchase the company from the existing owners and fully execute his plan. By 1995 Jim purchased a full service ASME code fabrication shop, and had a traveling field service crew to do repair and installation work. From that time period we have been on a continual upward growth trend, expanding our markets, developing new technology, and refining our expertise. Today, with a staff of over 125 people throughout our three divisions we are continuing our path of growth and development.
